孤帆

阿湄位于乌布东北方，是个巴厘海岸边的小渔镇。到阿湄的第二天早上，我租了艘朱贡船出海浮潜。头埋进水里，四处看看：珊瑚呀，鱼儿啊，乌龟呀。如此等等。

中午过后，我回到酒店房间，随后走到阳台上，无意间瞥见离岸边不远的海面上停着一艘小帆船。帆已经收起，船身随着巴厘海蔚蓝的海水轻轻起伏。船头迎着风浪。索具上飘着两面小旗，一面是加拿大的枫叶旗，另一面是印度尼西亚国旗。

我不禁想：好奇怪

寻找巴厘

她将水碗举到眼前。随后把手指浸入水中。一次。两次。三次。她将水轻轻洒向神龛。紧接着，是一连串缓慢而优雅的动作。她伸开手指，在神龛前的空气中轻轻划过。那动作仿佛是在拂去什么东西。仿佛神龛前的虚空里悬浮着一层看不见的烟雾，而她正试图将其轻轻拨开。接着，她又重复了一遍。只是这一次，最后那个动作停留得更久。动作越来越慢。越来越轻柔。最后一点一点消散在静止之中。

迟来总比不来好

当我第一次听到电影《阿嬤的情书》的剧情时，脑海里即刻浮现出的，是弗兰克·麦考特（Frank McCourt）的《安琪拉的灰烬》（Angela’s Ashes）。这本出版于1996年的回忆录，把爱尔兰贫困、移民与屈辱的情感现实，第一次真正带入了主流文化意识之中。也许，《阿嬤的情书》所标志的，正是中国社会终于开始以类似方式，面对南洋华人离散历史的时刻
